Lavender Roses

They were lavender that morning when she put them on.
She wanted to be grown, but here mama wouldn't buy her thongs

Pink and yellow flowers graced the very front
She liked red roses but you can't always get what you want.

She went into school not caring about the day,
She just wanted "him" to at least glance her way

Third period was over, fourth was about to begin
She hated this class because she was alone, no friends

She got up to leave, and as she did the laughter started
She just knew it wasn't at her as she stood there light-hearted

But the fingers were directed her way, the heads were turned
Jaws were dropped, and her nickname was earned

They pointed to her chair, she looked down to see
Droplets of blood in the chair of her seat

In embarrassment she ran as fast as her feet would go
The "little" girls room, hopefully no one would know

She crept low in a stall, her eyes were like hoses
The lavender panties were now the color of roses

Now miss "Chair" doesn't really want to be all grown up
She doesn't mind being a little girl; so far being a woman sucks
